The Children's Forest
www.childrensforest.com/
The Children's Forest is Yorkshire Water's Millennium project. It's linked to the national 'Trees of Time and Place' campaign, supported by 30 environmental organisations to encourage people to grow trees from seeds in their local landscapes. Primary school children will create a real forest environment on Yorkshire Water's land at Esholt, near Bradford. This (the Shockwave version) is a visually stunning site - great message too.
Requires Shockwave.

Willing to try
www.willing-to-try.com
This animated journey represents the philosophy of the Try Group, a Japanese organization that is seeking new methods of learning within Japanese schools (in which academics are currently stressed over individualism). They encourage children to see that there is more than one way of looking at what is presented to you.
