Wintec Media Arts Department showcases the year's top works Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec) is to stage a series of exhibitions in a celebration of student work undertaken during 2005. The exhibitions will be held over Thursday December 1 and Saturday December 3 at Wintec's Media Arts Department in Collingwood Street and in various inner city venues. Some viewings will have extended seasons. Wintec Media Arts Head of Department, Margi Moore, said the work represents the range of disciplines offered in Media Arts and clearly demonstrates their ability to collaborate in this exciting intermedia environment as well as showcasing individual innnovation. "Our graduates are amongst some of the most successful in their fields, in New Zealand and further afield. Their work is recognised for its professionalism and quality. From the editor of PRODESiGN: Glad to see Your Voice being used. Even more glad to have pointed some people in its direction! Not so glad however to hear that some designers are putting getting in touch with PRODESiGN into the "too-hard basket". So here are two links to make it easier for you: PRODESiGN invites all designers (graphic, product and commercial interior) to send us your projects or send us your thoughts for publication! And here are some deadlines for submissions to PRODESiGN: 1st week March (April issue); 1st week May (June issue); 1st week July (August issue); 1st week September (October issue). Let's hope Your Voice will open up a whole brave new world (if you'll forgive the reference!) of open communication and dialogue - we will certainly be keeping an eye on the developing discussions.
