After living and attending art school in Sydney, Adele now lives and works in her home town Wellington with her husband and two little girls.
After art school, six years ago Adele began working on private commissions and for the past couple of years has also been exhibiting her work in galleries.
Adele specializes in contemporary oil on canvas and her inspiration derives from her surroundings. She draws forms and colour from all aspects of nature.
The title that gives you insight into Adele’s inspiration is ‘The Nature of Change’ and this encapsulates her exploration of the many natural colours, light and lines that form the trilogy of sky, water and land.
Adele enjoys exploring the colour palettes in natures powerful elements such as fire and storm. She loves using the beautiful amber colour palette that takes its inspiration from fires intense heat, depth of colour, strength, reflective nature, its aftermath and most visual the dance of light and dark.
Adele loves painting in opulent oils and often uses colour contrasts to capture the eye. Her art is rich with colour.
