Corporate Responsibility (CR) and sustainability are the same things in our mind. They are about doing long-term
better business.
CR hinges on three factors: well considered economic growth, environmentally protective practices that are
habit-driven rather than fad-induced and consideration of the society in which we operate so we contribute beneficially
to its development. These three factors are integral to a company’s brand and reputation more so now than ever before.
Sustainability is not the same for everyone. Its main driver is better long-term business practices and these mean
different things for different organizations.
If you're interested we can tell you more about how we've approached our own responsibilities.
We recently wrote an article for a feature in the NZ Herald about CR reporting which you may find of interest if this is a new area to you.
